Our story
Like many other people during lockdown, I revisited a past hobby. Once I started designing and making hats and headdresses again, I spent many hours surrounded by beads and material in my craft room. This was when I realised how passionate about it I was. I decided to leave my job to focus my attention on turning my hobby into a business.
The inspiration for many of my designs comes from nature and the beauty of flowers. Being interested in nature and how important it is to the wellbeing of the planet is very inspiring and I try to celebrate flowers and pollinators in my designs. In many of my designs you will notice, handmade silk flowers, beaded vines, butterflies and dragonflies. My favourite flowers are Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom) and lilies; I try to incorporate these beautiful flowers and vines into my designs.
All of my hats are handblocked and the flowers are handsewn. Each product is carefully handmade to order.
